“For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.”

1 JOHN 5:4

Love

We are committed to loving God and loving others, and to be known for our love for one another. This love is a reflection of the sacrificial love of Christ, who provided divine healing for the body, salvation for the soul, and deliverance for everyone who believes (1 Peter 2:24).

Worship

We strive to glorify God through worship that is rooted in scripture and draws us closer to Him. Our worship is a response to the great sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ, who died and was bodily resurrected from the dead to secure our salvation (John 19:30-35, Luke 24:36-40).

Service

We are called to serve our community and those in need, through both physical and spiritual acts of love and kindness. We serve with the purpose of sharing the gospel and reflecting the truth of the Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

Evangelism

We seek to spread the good news of our Lord Jesus Christ to all people, and to share the gospel through both deed and word (Matthew‬ ‭28‬:‭19‬-‭20). Our mission is fueled by the hope of the final resurrection and the eternal life that awaits all who believe in Him (Revelation 20:11-15).

Discipleship

We prioritize the practice of discipling others in the faith, helping them to grow in their understanding of the Bible and their relationship with God. This spiritual journey is rooted in the foundational principles of the doctrine of Christ, guiding us in all we do.

Stewardship

We strive to be wise stewards of the resources God has given us, weather spiritual or physical, using them to meet the needs of the church and community and to accomplish the assignment the Lord hs given to each one of us (1 Peter 4:10).

Unity

We seek to foster unity in diversity, standing together as the body of our Lord Jesus Christ, being brought together by our shared faith in the deity and saving work of our Lord Jesus Christ (John 1:12-13).

Holiness

We believe that as believers, we are a "holy nation" chosen by God and set apart for His purposes (1 Peter 2:9). This divine identity empowers us to live in obedience to God's Word and surrender daily to the transforming power of the Holy Spirit, allowing His nature to be manifested in our lives.

Mission

We seek to fulfill the Great Commission, making disciples of Jesus Christ in our region and beyond. We are called to share the good news of Christ, knowing that the only way to be cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in His shed blood (Acts 3:19, Ephesians 1:7).

Our Beliefs

We invite you to explore our beliefs and join us in our pursuit of living out our faith in boldness and passion.

  • The Trinity

We believe in one eternally existing God who is made known to us as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. This belief is rooted in the biblical truth that there is "one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all" (Ephesians 4:5-6). We believe in the perfect unity and complete co-existence of the Godhead, which is revealed from the very beginning, as seen in the creation account (Genesis 1:26), and is confirmed at Jesus's baptism, where all three persons are present (Matthew 3:16-17).

  • The Bible

We believe the Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16). It is a divine and absolute authority for our lives, providing guidance for faith and conduct. We believe that God inspired men through the Holy Spirit to write His truth, so that the scriptures are a reliable and unwavering foundation for our beliefs and our daily lives (2 Peter 1:20-21).

  • Jesus

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, who is fully God and fully man. As Hebrews 1:1-5 teaches, Jesus is the exact representation of God's being, the Son through whom the Father created the world. He was born of a virgin and conceived by the Holy Ghost (Matthew 1:18-25, Luke 1:30-35). He lived a sinless life, died on the cross as a sacrifice for our sins, and was bodily resurrected from the dead (John 19:30-35, Luke 24:36-40). Having accomplished our salvation, He ascended into heaven and will one day return to judge the living and the dead (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, Matthew 24:29-30).

  • Salvation

We believe that salvation is a free gift from God and that the only way to be cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Jesus (Ephesians 1:7). As Jesus commanded, repentance for the forgiveness of sins must be preached in His name to all nations (Luke 24:47). We affirm that the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides divine healing and complete salvation for the soul and body of everyone who believes (Acts 3:16).

  • Baptism

We believe that water baptism is a symbolic act of death, burial, and resurrection with Christ, signifying a new life in Him. It's not for the forgiveness of sins, as our sins were washed away by the blood of Jesus. Instead, it is an outward confession of the inward change that has already taken place in a believer's heart. Romans 6:4 beautifully illustrates this: "Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life." This act is a public declaration of one's faith in Christ's finished work on the cross, demonstrating that the believer is now dead to sin and alive in Christ. It's a testament to the fact that we are a new creation in Christ Jesus.

  • Holy Spirit

We believe in the person of the Holy Spirit as the third person of the Godhead, who was sent to us by our Lord Jesus Christ to be our Helper and Comforter, as He promised in John 14. We believe that when a believer receives the Holy Spirit, they are given divine enablement for Christian service and witness (Acts 1:8). The Holy Spirit also has a sanctifying power that sets us apart and empowers us to live a holy life as we grow in Christ (Romans 15:16). We believe that the Holy Spirit is with us always, faithfully guiding us in our walk with God. We also believe that the Holy Spirit gives us gifts such as wisdom, knowledge, understanding, healing, miracles, tongues, and prophecy so that we can be used to serve God and spread the Good News.

  • The Church

Consistent with our core beliefs, we understand the Church to be the collective body of believers who have been called out and empowered by the Holy Spirit. We believe the Church is a people given divine enablement for Christian service and witness (Acts 1:8, 2:4) to share the good news of Christ with all nations.

  • Prayer

We believe that prayer is a vital part of the believer's life, and as Jesus commanded, we should always pray and not lose heart (Luke 18:1). We also believe that prayer is an essential part of our spiritual armor, a powerful weapon in our fight of faith (Ephesians 6:18). We believe in the power of prayer to receive divine healing for the body and to live a victorious life, as promised in the redemptive work of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is through prayer that we draw near to God with unwavering confidence, knowing that He always hears and answers us when we ask according to His will (1 John 5:14-15).
